Hannah's Hope for $250K grant 6-year-old Hannah Sames needs your help, and all it takes is 10 seconds a day for the rest of the month. She suffers from a rare but deadly disease. Researchers have developed a treatment they think deserves a clinical trial, but getting FDA approval costs a lot of money. That's why Hannah needs you to vote every day for her to win a $250,000 Pepsi Refresh grant. Read the Full Story

News and info about Clifton Park, Halfmoon and more

Welcome to SoSara, your Southern Saratoga County news and information source. I founded SoSara because I believed there were too many things happening in the area what were newsworthy but weren't making the news. Whether it was a new restaurant opening or local children doing something remarkable, I thought people would want to know about it.

So I set out to make SoSara the best source for news and information about Clifton Park, Halfmoon, Mechanicville, Malta, Ballston Spa, Ballston Lake, Galway, Waterford, Stillwater and Round Lake. I envision it as a digital town square, where people can learn what's happening and talk to each other.

I want you to be a part of SoSara. Comment on the stories, vote in the polls and rate the businesses in the directory. Let me know when there's something SoSara ought to cover, and add items to the community calendar. Or feel free to write something yourself.

Let's make this great community even better.
