Chamber announces officers for 2010
CLIFTON PARK (Jan. 9) — Marcia Steiner will serve as the 2010 chair of the board of The Chamber of Southern Saratoga County.
Steiner is executive director of the Seton Health Foundation, the charitable corporation of Seton Health, which is a comprehensive, integrated Catholic healthcare system anchored by St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy and providing regionally based services to residents of Rensselaer, Southern Saratoga and Northern Albany counties. She has served on the chamber’s board of directors since 2007.
Marcia Steiner will serve as the Chamber of Southern Saratoga County's chair of the board for 2010.
- Chair elect: J. Edward Hicks, president of Prestige Services;
- Vice chair: Douglas Ford, director of sales and operations at Curtis Lumber;
- Treasurer: Laurie Ferlazzo CPA, senior tax accountant at The Bonadio Group;
- Secretary: Marvin LeRoy, director of major gifts and gift planning at Hudson Valley Community College.
The chamber also announces the addition of four new directors, who will each serve a 3-year term:
- Wayne Beale, owner of Bentley’s Tavern, The Mill on Round Lake and The Rusty Nail Grill & Tavern;
- Tracey Costanza, branch manager at First Niagara Bank;
- Paul Milton, chief operating officer at Ellis Medicine;
- Daniel Kumlander, CPA at Roback, Kumlander and Pehl.
“I look forward to working closely with Marcy and the new directors as we continue to move the Chamber forward to better serve the needs of our local business community,” said Peter Aust, the chamber’s president & CEO. “We are very optimistic about the direction of our organization and what we have planned for 2010.
